IV OCEAN LAVA Triathlon Lanzarote 2013: 2nd November 2013
A unique race course which starts with the swim course in the crystalline waters
of Puerto del Carmen, an extraordinary bike ride that takes you through the picturesque wine area, rough lava fields, along the coast of El Golfo, the climb up to Femés and the Timanfaya National Park before reaching Puerto del Carmen. The competitors finish the day with a run cheered up by thousands of spectators along the beach promenade followed by the trophy award ceremony
II RC44 PUERTO CALERO Cup 2013: 20th- 24th November
The race circuit is known for the prestigious venues that feature in the calendar, the design concept of boats and of course the top racing sailors that come to take part in each event.
V MUSIC MARATHON FESTIVAL: 1st March 2014
The Music Marathon Festival is a great social and charity sports event for the whole
family. It offers competitors the unique possibility to run, walk, skate or race in
a wheelchair whilst listening to live music along the race course. The Avenida de Las Playas in Puerto del Carmen, where VIK hotel San Antonio is located, is a great street party with live music bands, that perform while you race or simply enjoy the show. It is an unforgettable event for competitors and spectators. We finish the event with the “Music Marathon Festival” Concert in the finish line and the Awards Ceremony.
XXIII IRONMAN 2014: 17th May 2014
More than 1800 athletes from all backgrounds and walks of life will complete their own personal challenge and test their endurance to complete one of the world´s toughest Triathlon race. Each participant must swim 3.8 km, ride a grueling 180.2 km bike course and finally run a full marathon of 42.2 km to earn the privilege of being an IRONMAN LANZAROTE finisher.
