To achieve this commitment, efficient solutions have been applied in the daily exercise of their activities and the ongoing search for innovative alternatives among which we highlight the following:

Bio energy or biomass energy: The hotel has the first biomass boiler in the island of La Palma and one of the first installed in the Canary Islands, which diminishes the dependency on fossil fuels, such as oil.
Renewable energy and efficient energy technologies: It has a heat pump for hot water production and recovery chiller (cooling water for the use of air conditioning). These machines use the excess of energy consumed, as well as waste heat to produce cold or hot water as required, to optimize the maximum electricity consumption as possible. Moreover, these machines have the highest standard in energy efficiency.
Completely domotic equipped machine room: This means that the whole machine system, hot water, air conditioning, water pump, boiler, etc. is computer controlled, with measurements and parameters staking almost constantly, so that all machines operate for the time required and the most efficient, with a consequent reduction in power consumption and the emission of gases to the atmosphere. In addition, limiting the time spent to the minimum necessary, lengthens its life, so also reduce the production of scrap, waste oil, etc.
Swimming pool and Jacuzzi: water is cleaned by salt electrolysis, avoiding chemical chlorine, as we get the chlorine from the salt water itself.
Use of bed linen, towels and linens stamped "Öko -Tex Standard 100 made in green ®" organic seal of lingerie and linens used in the hotel, assigned to the manufacturer with an internationally recognized as ecological standard within the European Union.
System of ecological sewage collection: We have a grease separator equipped with an enzymatic digester.
