Terms and conditions for on-line bookings:

• Payment
  Although we will ask for your credit card details in advance, the cost will not be charged during the reservation process.
  Upon receipt of the booking, the hotel will contact you to request a copy of the original credit card, a copy of the owners ID card and the authorized signature in order to complete the payment. Alternatively, the payment can be settled by wire transfer after checking availability with the hotel.
  The payment must be settled at least 2 days ahead arrival, within the free cancellation period. For dates specified in the cancellations and modifications section, payment should be made prior to the free cancellation period. Should you fail to make the payment, VIK Hotels Group reserves the right to cancel the booking without prior notice.
  For the credit options, please contact our Credit Department sending your request of approval to info@vikhotels.com.
  
  Please advise your costumer to keep hold of the booking reference and show it at reception upon arrival at the hotel (should he fail to present your booking reference, the hotel will not be held liable for any booking-related errors, such as applicable rates, number of guests and/or contracted services).
  
  
• Prices
  The prices shown on the vikhotels.com website are for the whole stay and include direct taxes (VAT, ITBI, etc.) depending on the destination country. Possible indirect local taxes or airport taxes will not be included. Prices may change without previous notice, but always keep the prices of bookings already made, unless bookings are wrong produced by some error of the reservations gateway. Therefore, VIK hotels group reserves the right to act on the reservations processed.
  
  
• Modifications and cancellations
  Bookings can be cancelled through the exclusive section for Travel Agencies (or sending an e-mail to info@vikhotels.com indicating the reservation code).
  VIK Hotels Group reserves the right to charge your credit card the cost of the first night for bookings of less than 7 days, or 10% of the total cost for longer bookings in the following cases: in the event of no-show, or when the booking is cancelled less than 2 days ahead of the scheduled date of arrival (minimum notice of 7 days required for the periods spanning 15/07 to 15/09/10, 24/12/10 to 02/01/11 and 28/03/10 to 04/04/10, less than 7 days will charge 2 nights of the booking). In case of a transfer booking, a 25% will be additionally applied on the service price.
  • In case of Estancia Vik Jose Ignacio, VIK Hotels Group reserves the right to charge your credit card the cost of the 100% of the total cost for longer bookings in the following cases: in the event of no-show, or High Season: 50% of prepayment at the moment of the booking, rest of the amount 60 days prior to arrival. Payments are not refundables. Low & Middle Season: prepayment 7 days before arrival. Between 6 and 3 days prior to arrival 1 night penalty charge. < 48 hours or No Show is 100%.
  
  
• Check-In and Check-out
  The rooms will be available from 3pm (in the Lanzarote hotels from 4pm and at Estancia VIK Jose Ignacio 24 hours) and check out will be before midday. The aforementioned conditions may be changed by prior request and payment of the amount agreed. The said amount will be communicated by e-mail after the appropriate request.
  We will hold your client’s booking until 18:00 on the day of arrival. If he expects to arrive later, please call the hotel to let it know. The hotel will make every possible effort to cater to the special wishes and requests of hotel guests, subject to availability and resources.
  
  
• Responsabilities
  VIK Hotels group neither takes responsibility for nor guarantees that access to this reservations gateway will be non-stop or that it will be error free. In no case will VIK hotels group be responsible for the losses, damages or inconveniences of any type that arise from the access and use of the reservations gateway. Therefore, VIK hotels group reserves the right to act on the reservations processed.
  
  
• Private policy
  Privacy policy: We hereby inform users that once they have registered, they will be legally entitled to access the filing system where their personal data is stored at any time, and may exercise their statutory rights to amend, withdraw and challenge their data pursuant to Organic Personal Data Protection Act 15/1999 dated 13 December (Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal). They may likewise revoke authorisation to transfer and process their personal data.
