Bahía Vik José Ignacio reflects contemporary beach living with a seamless flow between indoors and outdoors inspired with art and Vik luxury. Guests live in the sand dunes on the Mansa Beach, fully embracing the beach life of José Ignacio.
Bahía Vik José Ignacio consists of eleven uniquely designed bungalows, most of which are 2 and 3 bedrooms plus one each of 3 suites and 4 suites tucked into the sandy beach dunes, with one central building around which retreat living revolves. This main building, built of beautiful Uruguayan grey slate, includes 10 luxurious suites and is defined by open architecture and flowing spaces, encouraging conviviality among Bahia Vik guests.
Bahia Vik’s sister properties, Playa Vik and Estancia Vik José Ignacio, are located approximately 550 yards (500 meters) along the beach and five miles (eight kilometers) from the new retreat, respectively. The three properties work in tandem, offering two distinct beachfront experiences at Playa Vik and Bahia Vik, complimented by a traditional countryside retreat in the rolling hills of Estancia Vik. Activities are endless from surfing, swimming, paddle boards, tennis, golf, horseback riding, biking, kite surfing, kayaking, canoeing, stargazing, or just lounging by the retreat pools with a book. The unique juxtaposition of landscapes was the inspiration behind the neighboring properties, allowing guests to experience the incredible diversity of Uruguay. Bahia Vik is an hour and a half drive from the Montevideo Airport and 40 minutes from the Punta del Este Airport.
